Simply put, the DeLorean might be the most famous film car of all time. While its place in the public mind was undeniably cemented by its role on the silver screen, it’s also an absolutely gorgeous piece of automotive art. Giorgetto Giugiaro created a truly heart-stopping shape wrought out of stainless steel and capable of bringing us all into the space age.
There was only one problem… the engine. The PRV V6 spat out 152 lb-ft of torque and a measly 130HP out of it’s little pea-shooter exhaust pipes. We don’t think we’re offending anyone by saying that this engine was not what the car deserved. That’s where Moment comes in - our dual electric motors make these cars capable of the light-speed their bodies promised.
